A note from Laura

I’m so proud to finally share our Glassette x ONSURI collaboration. ONSURI is one of the leading olive oils in the world, with polyphenol levels far above industry standards. They’re a rare family business that owns 100% of their supply chain - something rare in the industry.

This has been over a year in the making. We originally planned to launch in plastic, but after a trip to Italy (where someone told me storing oil in plastic was like putting wine in a bin bag!), we pivoted to glass. We spent months discussing the perfect pourer, because every detail matters.

Extra Virgin Olive Oil is the foundation of all good cooking. It brings both health and harmony, but most importantly, it makes food taste better.

At Glassette, care and thoughtfulness sit at the heart of everything we do, and this olive oil is no exception. It’s extraordinary quality, presented beautifully, and I’m thrilled that we can bring it to you at such a brilliant price point.

Born from a shared love of good food and honest provenance

Ovette olive oil is sourced from ONSURI'S family farm located near Qasr al-Azraq, Jordan, where olive trees have grown for generations in mineral-rich soil under a fiercely bright sun.

Here, everything is done with purpose. The olives are picked early, cold-extracted within hours, and bottled on-site to preserve flavour, freshness and nutritional integrity. This is oil for those who care about what goes into the pan and onto the plate—complex, peppery, rich in polyphenols, and recognised by over 100 international awards. A true expression of place, craft and culinary intent.

FAQs

Can I cook with Extra Virgin Olive Oil?

Yes — and you should! Extra Virgin Olive Oil is one of the healthiest oils to cook with. It has a naturally high smoke point (190–220°C) and is packed with antioxidants and polyphenols that protect it from breaking down under heat. Polyphenol-rich oils like ours perform even better when cooking, staying stable and preserving their health benefits. Use them for roasting, sautéing, baking, or drizzling — they enhance flavour while delivering powerful nutrition in every dish.

What’s the difference between the Everyday and Finishing oils?

Our Everyday oil — In The Pan Olive Oil — is crafted for versatility, perfect for cooking, roasting, and daily use in the kitchen. Our Finishing oil — On The Plate Olive Oil — is made to shine at the table. It’s more aromatic and flavour-intense, ideal for drizzling over salads, dipping bread, or adding a final touch to cooked dishes.

How should I store my olive oil?

Keep your olive oil in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight, heat, and air. The ideal spot is a cupboard or pantry, not next to the oven. Always reseal the bottle or tin after use to protect it from oxidation. Stored properly, your oil will stay fresh and full of flavour until the best-before date. What not to do: Avoid refrigerating (it can cause cloudiness) and don’t keep your oil right by the hob. Ovette’s bottles are designed to be beautiful enough to keep on display — just make sure they’re always to hand, but never too close to direct heat.

Is your packaging recyclable?

Yes. Our bottles are made of glass, which is fully recyclable. Because they are beautifully painted, some local recycling facilities may ask you to place them in mixed-glass or general glass recycling rather than clear-glass bins. Please check your local guidance. Our outer packaging and shipping materials are also recyclable.

Is Ovette suitable for a vegan or plant-based diet?

Yes. Ovette is 100% extra virgin olive oil — purely from olives, with nothing added. It’s naturally suitable for vegans, vegetarians, and anyone following a plant-based diet. It’s also naturally gluten-free, dairy-free, and keto-friendly, making it a versatile choice for a wide range of health and lifestyle needs.

How long does the oil last once opened?

Once opened, Ovette is best enjoyed within 3 months for maximum flavour and freshness, though it will remain perfectly good up to its best-before date if stored correctly. To keep it at its best, always reseal the bottle after use (if pourer not being used) and keep it away from heat and air. Tip: Because Ovette’s bottles are UV-protected, your oil is naturally shielded from light, helping it stay fresher for longer while looking beautiful on display

Are your oils cold pressed?

Yes. All our oils are cold-pressed, extracted without heat or chemicals to preserve their natural flavour, nutrients, and quality.

Are Ovette oils rich in polyphenols?

Yes. All our oils exceed the EU benchmark of 250 mg/kg required to be classified as high in polyphenols, delivering both exceptional flavour and proven health benefits. They are produced by the ONSURI family farm, internationally recognised as one of the world’s leading producers of polyphenol-rich oils.

Is your oil filtered?

Yes. Our oils are gently filtered to remove natural sediments. This extends shelf life and preserves quality by preventing unwanted fermentation or oxidation, ensuring the oil stays fresh and vibrant.
